Modern quantitative interpretation requires the best seismic data possible. Seismic noise, velocity errors, and other processing artefacts can degrade the usefulness and reliability of 3D seismic data. Pre-Stack Pro delivers visualisation, processing, and interpretation of pre-stack seismic data to QC and produce seismic gathers suitable for QI.
A comprehensive suite of tools for amplitude analysis is available through Pre-Stack Pro. AvO attributes in map or 3D volume format can be generated from the full set of PSDM-gathers, that can be used to identify and high-grade amplitude anomalies related to lithology and fluid.
Pre-Stack Pro offers a number of inversion methodologies, from coloured inversion, extended elastic inversion and pre-stack AvO inversion through to PCube+.
PCube+, developed by Statoil and the Norwegian University of Science and Technology, is a Bayesian inversion scheme that computes lithofacies probabilities and elastic properties from seismic data given prior geological knowledge. The results can be used to derisk exploration prospects and for use in geologic static modelling.
